The International Inline Figure Skating Association or IIFSA, was formed in early 2000 after its founders Gold and Silver Medallists, Joann Schnieider Farris, and Marion Ennis Curtis, discovered that the new sport of Inline Figure Skating was on the verge of a tremendous breakthrough.

Since then, popularity of this unique sport skyrocketed with the invention and development of inline figure skate technology.

Suburb skate equipment has enabled skaters to attempt tricks on inline skates that previously only ice figure skaters could accomplish

As the sport caught on, the IIFSA has certified and registered over 50 coaches all over the world.

The IIFSA's vision Is to:

·	Support coaches and skating schools worldwide

·	Train and certify qualified instructors

·	Provide a meeting place for Inline Figure Skaters and Coaches

·	Help coaches develop Olympic-bound athletes

·	Provide Nutritional Sports Support

·	Provide achievement testing and award incentives for recreational inline skaters
